Boat Club
Welcome to the smartest way to boat. We are a boutique, community-driven club designed for those who value time on the water over the headaches of maintenance, cleaning, and storage. Unlike massive commercial fleets, we keep our community intentionally small to strictly maintain our low member-to-boat ratio and guarantee exceptional availability for our members. Because we prioritize quality over quantity, we offer a very limited number of memberships each season. If you are ready to trade the stress of ownership for the freedom of the lake, apply today—once we reach our capacity cap, registration closes immediately and once these spots are gone, they are gone.

FAQ
What makes our club unique and how are the prices so low?
We are a boutique club focused on offering premium vessels at accessible rates. The secret to our affordability is our fully automated, technology-driven model with no permanent on-site staff, which significantly reduces overhead costs. This automation offers another massive benefit: it allows us to operate from dawn to dusk (roughly 14 hours a day) rather than the standard “9-to-5” (8 hours) schedule of traditional rentals. This significantly maximizes your time on the water.
We rely on building a tight-knit, friendly community where members look out for one another and treat the boats like their own, rather than a rental. This shared ownership mentality is why our penalty structure is designed to directly compensate the member you inconvenienced, ensuring fairness and fostering a culture of mutual respect.
What are the season open dates and hours?
Our official boating season runs from May 1st to October 1st, giving you five full months of access to the fleet. During this period, we operate 7 days a week from dawn to dusk, weather permitting. We recommend taking full advantage of the peak summer months, but the crisp, quiet days in early May and late September often offer some of the most peaceful and beautiful boating of the entire year.
Will I actually be able to get a boat on weekends?
This is our most common question, and the fear that you won’t get a boat is a major misconception. Let’s look at the math.
We aim to maintain 10-to-1 member-to-boat ratio to maximize availability.
Our season runs from May 1st to October 1st (approx. 22 weeks), giving us 44 weekend days.
Operating from dawn to dusk gives us roughly 14 hours of boating time per day.
44 days × 14 hours = 616 hours of weekend time available per boat.
When you share that boat with only 9 other people (10 members total), that equals 61.6 hours of weekend boating time available just for YOU.
To put that in perspective, the average boat owner only uses their boat for about 25 to 30 hours per entire season. This means our membership offers you roughly double the industry average usage on weekends alone. With our rolling reservation system and these low ratios, the math proves there is more than enough time for everyone.
What are the booking restrictions and slot lengths?
To ensure fair access for everyone, our schedule is divided into 3-hour reservation slots, which is usually plenty of time for a typical outing. You are allowed one “Advance Reservation” at a time.
Advance Booking: You can secure one future date (e.g., Oct 1st at 1 PM). Until that trip is completed, you cannot make another Advance reservation. This prevents members from “hogging” all the prime weekends and holidays months in advance.
Last-Minute Booking: Once you are within 3 days of your desired time, you can make unlimited “Last-Minute” bookings, even for back-to-back slots (e.g., to create a 6-hour block) or additional days.
Example: You have an Advance Reservation for this Saturday at 2 PM. You realize you want to stay out longer (6 hours instead of 3) or go again on Sunday. On Thursday (3 days prior), you check the app. If slots are open, you can book them immediately to extend your time or add days. However, you won’t be able to book next weekend until your current Advance Reservation is complete. This system guarantees availability while still rewarding flexible members with unlimited access.
Can I share my reservation with other members?
Yes! We highly encourage it. During booking, you simply check the box to allow others to join and input your party size (e.g., 6 people). The system automatically calculates and displays the remaining spots for other members to grab.
Why is this so important? Let’s look at the math:
Season Length: ~153 days (May 1 – Oct 1).
Daily Hours: ~14 hours (Dawn to Dusk).
Total Boat Hours: ~2,142 hours available per season per boat.
If an 18-passenger boat operates for 2,142 hours, that equals 38,556 passenger-hours available per season on just one boat. If members go out alone, we waste almost all of that capacity. If we share, we unlock thousands of hours of opportunity, making availability virtually unlimited for everyone.
I love water sports but its only me my wife and young kids. Can we stil do water sports?
First, you must understand that this is a very serious law that should never be overlooked. The penalty for violating spotter rules is not just a police fine. If you operate as a lone driver towing someone with only young children in the boat, you can be charged with Endangering a Child. This is a serious criminal offense, and you could literally lose custody of your children. Yes simple tubing too.
Don’t assume they won’t see you. Police are often stationed on the beach or in unmarked boats using powerful binoculars. Big, beautiful wake boats are loud and naturally attract attention—so just because you can’t see the police, doesn’t mean they can’t see you.
So, can you ski or tube? Yes and No.
For the kids: Yes! One adult can drive while the other acts as the spotter.
For the adults: No. If one parent drives and the other wants to ski, you cannot legally or safely do so because young children cannot serve as spotters.
The Law: In Ontario, a spotter must be a competent person who can keep watch on the person being towed and communicate with the operator. Common sense dictates that a young child cannot effectively alert the driver to safety issues or assist in an emergency.
The Club Solution: This is where our community shines! Instead of risking your family’s safety and future, simply invite another member to join you or use the app to open your reservation to others. You can create member groups, chill together, and take turns spotting for each other so everyone gets a turn behind the boat safely.
Can I bring guests or pets on board?
Absolutely! You are encouraged to bring friends, family, and even your four-legged companions. However, there are critical safety rules regarding guests that you must follow:
Who Can Drive: Only the member is permitted to drive. Due to our strict vetting process and safety protocols, you absolutely cannot allow your guests to take the wheel. If we catch a non-member driving, your membership will be immediately terminated with no refund.
Capacity Limits: Never exceed the passenger or weight limits listed on the boat’s capacity plate. Overloading a vessel creates a genuine risk of capsizing or sinking. If you are caught violating this rule—and survive the incident—your membership will be terminated immediately.
Guest Fee: There is no guest fee—bring as many people as the boat’s capacity plate allows (just don’t exceed it!).
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome on most vessels but must remain on a leash at all times while on land—no exceptions.
Parking Fee for Guests: To ensure ample parking for members, there is a $20 parking fee per guest car if they park on-site. We strongly encourage carpooling. There is plenty of free parking available nearby, so we recommend meeting up there, consolidating into one vehicle, and arriving at the club together. This policy ensures that our lot is never overcrowded and that every member always has a spot.
Towing Policy: Any unregistered vehicle caught on site will be towed at the owner’s expense. No exceptions. We strictly manage our lot to ensure members always have parking; if your guest’s car is not properly registered or paid for, it will be removed.
Do you provide safety equipment like life jackets?
Yes and no. While every boat is equipped with enough life vests to cover its maximum capacity, these are basic emergency-style vests stored under the seats for emergency use only. You are required to bring your own personal life jackets for each occupant of the vessel to ensure comfort and proper fit. Member Responsibility: At the start of every outing, you are strictly required to verify the presence of these emergency life jackets to ensure they have not been lost or stolen by a previous user. If they are missing, you must report it immediately before leaving the dock.
Strict Rule: Children under 18 are required to wear a life jacket at all times—no exceptions. Adults are strongly encouraged to wear theirs as well to set a good example.
How does the boat membership actually work?
Our membership is designed to be as simple as possible: you pay a joining fee and monthly dues, and in return, you get access to the entire fleet of boats within the specific category you chose. To protect availability and ensure fairness for members in lower-priced categories, we do not allow “cross-category hopping” (e.g., booking a pontoon even if you joined the wake boat category); however, if you want access to more than one type of boat, you can add additional categories to your membership at a significantly reduced rate. Instead of owning a single boat with all the associated maintenance, storage, and insurance headaches, you simply book a reservation through our online system, show up at the dock, and head out on the water.
Can I just come to the club to swim and suntan?
Absolutely! You don’t need a boat reservation to enjoy the club. The water is crystal clear and we have plenty of parking, so feel free to come down for a swim or a tan. You are welcome to bring friends and pets, but please keep dogs on a leash at all times—no exceptions—and be mindful of our neighbors. For safety, please remember that swimming is restricted to the right side of the bay, as the left side is strictly for boat traffic. While we do reserve the right to limit land access if the grounds get overcrowded, our goal is to build a respectful community that manages itself so we never have to—we just want everyone to have a great time. No lifeguard on duty.
Can I bring my own Bluetooth speaker?
On the boat? Yes. You are welcome to, though you likely won’t need it since most of our vessels come equipped with built-in Bluetooth stereo systems.
On land? Absolutely not. We maintain a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. No one wants to hear your personal playlist while they are relaxing at the dock or in the parking lot.
Strict Enforcement: If we see a speaker being used on land, we reserve the right to confiscate it.
Car Audio: If you blast music from your car while stationary, we will ban that vehicle from ever entering the grounds again.
We take peace and quiet seriously—please be respectful of your fellow members and our neighbors.
Can I host corporate events or weddings?
Maybe. We handle requests for private events like corporate gatherings or weddings on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific vision, guest count, and dates. We would be happy to chat and see if our facility can accommodate your special occasion.
Do I need prior boating experience or a license to join?
Yes, to operate a motorized boat in Ontario, you are legally required to hold a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). In terms of practical skills, you must be physically able to undock, dock, and securely tie the boat yourself. If you don’t know how to do this yet, don’t worry—we will teach you! Our onboarding process includes a mandatory on-water orientation with a certified captain who will train you on these essential maneuvers so you feel completely confident and safe before you head out on your own.
What if I don't have experience, am not good with boats, but still want to join?
You are still very welcome to join our club! If you aren’t comfortable piloting the vessel yourself, you have two great options to get out on the water. You can invite a fellow member who is qualified to drive for you, or you can hire one of our certified captains for your outing. This way, you can relax and enjoy the boating lifestyle with your friends and family without the stress or responsibility of being at the helm.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Your monthly membership fee covers the heavy lifting of boat ownership, including dockage, storage, routine cleaning, preventative maintenance. However, it is important to note that fuel and insurance are billed separately based on your usage. You are responsible for the fuel consumed during your outing, and a separate daily insurance rate is applied to each reservation you make. This pay-as-you-go structure ensures you are fully protected while on the water without inflating your fixed monthly dues.
What is the process to book a boat?
Booking is simple and done entirely through our online reservation portal. You just log in, select your preferred date and time slot, and confirm your booking instantly. On the day of your reservation, you simply park your car and head straight to your assigned boat. Before you untie the lines, you are required to use our app to upload 4 photos of the boat’s current condition and report any pre-existing issues you see. This quick check-in process protects you from liability and ensures the boat is ready for your adventure.
Why is the insurance fee charged separately?
Think of this like renting a car: you pay a daily rate to ensure you are fully covered for that specific trip. By separating the insurance fee, we can offer a comprehensive “pain-free” protection plan similar to the collision damage waivers offered by car rental agencies. This small daily fee is what shields you from the massive financial risks of boating—saving you from hefty deductibles, expensive repair bills, and the headache of trying to prove an accident wasn’t your fault. It’s a small price to pay for total peace of mind every time you leave the dock.
What happens if I damage a boat?
Because you pay a daily insurance rate for every outing, you are generally covered for accidental damage, such as a prop strike or minor dock rash, allowing for a stress-free experience. However, this coverage does not apply to gross negligence or mistreatment of the vessel. For example, damage such as burn marks on the vinyl seats from cigarettes, or stained upholstery from bringing prohibited items aboard, is considered negligence, not an accident. in these specific cases of carelessness, you will be held fully financially responsible for the repairs.
What happens if I don't self report damage?
We strongly encourage you to report any incidents immediately because, in most cases, your daily insurance fee covers accidental damage, meaning it costs you nothing. However, insurance companies often require prompt reporting; if you hide the damage and it is discovered later, the insurance claim may be denied, leaving you personally liable for repairs that could have been free. Furthermore, if you attempt to hide negligent damage, the next guest will almost certainly report it upon their arrival. In that scenario, you will face the full cost of repairs, a $999 non-reporting fine, and potentially immediate termination of your membership. Transparency is always your safest and cheapest option
Is fuel included in the membership?
Fuel is not included in your membership fees, and currently, you are required to return the boat with a full tank. We are in the active process of securing permits to install our own on-site refueling station, which will eventually allow us to handle this for you. However, until our private pumps are operational, you must visit a nearby marina to top off the tank before returning the vessel to our docks, ensuring it is ready for the next member’s reservation.
What happens if I forget to refuel?
We rely on members to leave the boat ready for the next person. If you return a boat without a full tank, the next member is forced to waste their reservation time stopping for gas. As a penalty for this inconvenience, you will be responsible for paying the entire fuel bill for that next member’s outing, in addition to your own fuel costs. This strict policy is in place to ensure everyone respects each other’s time and guarantees that every member steps onto a boat that is fully prepped and ready to go.
Do I need to clean the boat after myself?
Yes, we ask all members to follow the “leave no trace” rule: you must leave the boat in the exact same condition that you found it. While our staff handles deep cleaning and maintenance, you are responsible for removing all your trash, wiping down any spills, and organizing the gear before you walk away. Leaving the boat tidy ensures that the next member can board immediately and enjoy a clean, welcoming environment, just as you did at the start of your trip.
What happens if I forget to clean the boat?
If you fail to clean up after your outing, it unfairly forces the next member to clean up your mess before they can enjoy their time on the water. To compensate them for this inconvenience, you will be charged a $299 Member Cleaning Fee, which is paid directly to the member who had to clean the boat after you. We take this seriously because our community relies on mutual respect; leaving a dirty boat isn’t just a rule violation, it’s a direct impact on another member’s experience.
How do I know the next member won’t lie about the boat's condition to get free fuel or fees?
To protect everyone, we have a strict reporting window: members must report any issues with cleanliness or fuel levels within the first 15 minutes of their reservation using our app. This time-stamped report is the only way to trigger a penalty or fee. If the next member does not report a problem within that 15-minute window, they are deemed to have accepted the boat “as-is,” and no claims can be made against you later. This system ensures fairness and prevents anyone from taking advantage of the penalty policy.
What happens if I return late?
It is crucial to understand that your reservation “End Time” is not when you arrive at the dock, but when the boat is fully refueled, cleaned, and ready for the next member. We do not schedule buffer times between reservations to maximize availability, so you must factor in the trip to the fuel dock and cleaning time yourself. If you fail to manage your time and return late—encroaching on the next member’s slot—you will be penalized by paying for their entire fuel bill as compensation for the inconvenience. If there is no immediate booking after yours, no financial penalty applies, but we ask that you strictly adhere to the schedule to respect our fleet operations.
What happens if it rains?
Absolutely no boating is allowed during rain. We prohibit this for four critical safety reasons:
Speed & Comfort: We offer fast boats with powerful engines; at high speeds, raindrops hit you like tiny needles, making the ride painful and unsafe.
Flooding Risk: In heavy rain, the boat can fill with water rapidly, creating a genuine risk of sinking.
Lightning: This is a lethal danger. Many of our boats feature metal wake towers that act as lightning rods. A strike will likely kill everyone on board and destroy the vessel.
Rough Water: We operate on a large lake where storms create dangerous waves that can swamp the boat.
If rain starts while you are out in the middle of the lake, you must head back to the dock immediately.
Because this is a matter of life and safety, any violation of this policy will lead to immediate membership termination with no refund.
What is the no-show policy?
Please don’t be selfish. If you can’t make it, cancel immediately so another member can grab the slot and enjoy the water. If you fail to cancel and simply don’t show up, nothing happens. However, you will lose serious “karma points” within our community. We rely entirely on mutual respect to make this system work without heavy staffing, so please don’t let your fellow members down by wasting a perfectly good day on the water.
